Amin Kawar & Sons Honored for Gender Inclusion

Recognition at IFC’s Diversity Trailblazers Awards 2025

We are honored to announce that Amin Kawar & Sons has received recognition as one of the Top 60 private sector companies with Gender-Inclusive Policies at Jordan's First-Ever Diversity Trailblazers Awards. The event was organized by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in collaboration with the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

This remarkable event took place on February 25, 2025, and aims to recognize gender equality and the empowerment of women within the scope of work by celebrating private sector employers who demonstrate leadership in Jordan's workplace inclusivity.

Jordan Women's Empowerment Significance

The large number of participants in this award stands in contrast to the harsh reality for women in Jordan with only 14% of women participating in the workforce as of 2023, one of the lowest globally. At Amin Kawar & Sons, it is our belief that empowering women goes beyond a social responsibility to a strategic business approach that fuels innovation, engagement, and sustainable growth.
